The SouthWest Metro Chapter of IAAP meets the third Thursday of every month from September through June (second Thursday in December and May) at the Embassy Suites Bloomington, located at 2800 American Blvd West, Bloomington. Meeting fees are $25 for IAAP members, $30 for non-members/guests. This fee includes networking time (5:30p-6:00p), dinner from Chez Daniel (6:00p-6:40p), an educational program (6:40p-7:30p) followed by a brief business meeting. SouthWest Metro Chapter Picnic
by Rosland Park, 4300 West 66th Street in Edina Thursday, August 19, 2010We will be ordering box lunches from Jason's Deli. There will be three choices of sandwiches; ham, turkey and veggie, and two choices of bread and an organic wrap. The lunch will include a sandwich, pickle, bag of chips and a cookie. You will need to bring your own beverage of choice, water will be provided, plus seasonal fruit. The cost is $12/person, guests are welcome at the same price. Dinner fees will be collected at the picnic. The cost includes park rental and the box lunch. The parking at Rosland park is free, we are paying for the use of the shelter--barring a full scale storm, we'll proceed rain or shine. The park is located in Edina, east of highway 100, south of highway 62, between Lake Cornelia and the Edina Aquatic Center. Access to the picnic shelter parking area is through the Aquatic Center parking lot off the road to the Edina Art Center. Please register by clicking the link on the front page of the website.
