Invest in your career with IAAP! A chapter picnic will be held on Thursday, August 19, from 5:30 to 8:30 at Rosland Park, 4300 West 66th Street in Edina. We will be ordering box lunches from Jason's Deli. There will be three choices of sandwiches; ham, turkey and veggie, and two choices of bread and an organic wrap. The lunch will include a sandwich, pickle, bag of chips and a cookie. You will need to bring your own beverage of choice, water will be provided, plus seasonal fruit. The cost is $12/person, guests are welcome at the same price. Dinner fees will be collected at the picnic. The cost includes park rental and the box lunch. The parking at Rosland park is free, we are paying for the use of the shelter--barring a full scale storm, we'll proceed rain or shine. The park is located in Edina, east of highway 100, south of highway 62, between Lake Cornelia and the Edina Aquatic Center. Access to the picnic shelter parking area is through the Aquatic Center parking lot off the road to the Edina Art Center. Please RSVP by Monday, August 16. We welcome all administrative professionals to attend our regular monthly chapter meetings at 5:30pm at the Embassy Suites Bloomington, 2800 American Boulevard West, Bloomington. The cost is $25.00 for members and $30.00 for non-members. Advance reservations are required and can be made by clicking on the "Click Here to Register for Programs On-line" link at the top of this page.
Registration and networking begin at 5:30pm; dinner is at 6:00pm. The educational program starts at 6:40p and is followed by a short business meeting.
